Blue Side of the Moon
- Brushed finished blue ceramic case with polished finished beveled corners.
- Polished blue ceramic bezel with satin finished Liquidmetal Tachymeter scale.
- Polished blue ceramic crown & chrono buttons.
- Polished blue zirconium oxide ceramic dial, with [ZrO2] engraved on the dial directly above the center hands.
- Applied index hour markers with luminescent fill.
- Printed white minute/seconds & fractions of a second track.
- Polished hour & minute hands with luminescent fill.
- Small continuous running seconds hand at the center of the sub-dial at the 9 o’clock position.
- Date displayed on the perimeter of the sub-dial at the 9 o’clock position, indicated via the red circular tipped hand.
- Chronograph Stopwatch functions:
- Large central seconds hand counter with luminous spear-head tip .
- Minute (steel) & hour (white)Â hand counters are combined into a single sub-dial located at the 3 o’clock position.
- Moonphase display sub-dial at the 6 o’clock position. The moonphase features two infinitely small yet photo-realistic moons on a metallic crystal disc microstructured to obtain a high resolution image of the moon.
- Omega Master Co-Axial caliber 9904, beats at 28,000 vph (4Hz), contains 54 Jewels & has an approximate power reserve of 60 hours, courtesy of its twin barrels mounted in series.
- Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) certified Master-Chronometer. The finished watch movement is a COSC chronometer, passes tests that replicate real-life wearing conditions. The METAS certification tests water resistance, precision and magnetic resistance to 15’000 gauss.
- Anti-magnetic: resistant to magnetic fields greater than 15’000 gauss.
- The movement features Omega’s “Si 14” silicon balance spring, which contributes to the movements outstanding resistance to shock and to environmental disturbances and thus to the watch’s chronometric performance.
- The movement also features Omegas Co-Axial Escapement which contributes to greater precision, stability & durability. The Co-Axial escapement has less friction & reduces the necessity of lubrication thus reducing the time intervals required between servicing.
- The rotor & visible bridges are decorated with a unique “arabesque” wave design finish.
